West Bank: Palestinian journalist and boy among dozens arrested by Israeli forces

Israeli forces detained dozens of Palestinians, including journalist Enas Ikhlawi and a 15-year-old boy, during a raid-and-arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank. The raids involved extensive house searches and intimidation tactics in locations such as Hebron, Tulkarm, and the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem. The frequency of these arrests has escalated since 2023, with over 21,000 Palestinians from the West Bank arrested in just over two years. Currently, around 9,250 Palestinians are in Israeli detention, with human rights groups reporting systematic abuse, torture, and starvation, resulting in over 100 detainee deaths since October 2023.
