West Bank: Israeli soldiers disrupt funeral of 'No Other Land' crew member killed by an Israeli settler

Israeli forces disrupted the funeral procession of Awdah Hathleen, a Palestinian man and crew member of the documentary "No Other Land." Hathleen was fatally shot by an Israeli settler while trying to stop the bulldozing of Palestinian lands. Soldiers assaulted mourners, declared the area a closed military zone, and detained two foreign activists who were present in solidarity. Following the disruption, Israeli soldiers sealed off Khirbet Umm al-Khair and protected Israeli settlers as they expanded the Carmel settlement.
