West Bank: France condemns Israel's destruction of a school it helped fund and build

France's foreign ministry has strongly condemned Israel for demolishing a school in the West Bank village of Aqaba. The school, intended for about 100 Palestinian children, was financed and built by the French Development Agency (AFD) in partnership with the European Union. This is the second French-funded educational facility to be destroyed by the Israeli army in the West Bank. France stated that this "colonial policy" is a serious violation of international law and a threat to the two-state solution.
