We cannot negotiate if Israel continues attack on Gaza City: Hamas official

Senior Hamas official Basem Naim stated that the group cannot engage in ceasefire and captive swap negotiations while Israel continues its military aggression in Gaza City. He affirmed the Qatari position that negotiations are futile under the current circumstances and accused Israel of using talks to cover up its crimes. Naim warned that Israeli captives held in the city will meet the same fate as its residents and that resistance to the incursion will be fierce.
