US used new ballistic missile in strike that killed teens in Iran sports hall: Report

A previously untested US-made ballistic missile struck a sports hall and elementary school in Lamerd, Iran, on the opening day of a reported US-Israeli war. The weapon was identified as a Precision Strike Missile (PrSM), which is designed to detonate above its target and blast out tungsten pellets. At least 21 people were killed in the strike, which hit a facility being used by a girls' volleyball team. This attack is reported alongside another deadly US strike on a girls' school in Minab, which killed 165 people, mostly children.
