US to set up food centres in Gaza to help avert crisis, says Trump

Amid a deepening hunger crisis in Gaza, the US plans to establish food centers for Palestinians. According to US President Donald Trump, these centers will have open access without boundaries or fences. Starvation as a result of Israeli-imposed conditions has reportedly caused 147 Palestinian deaths, including 88 children. Over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since May while seeking food near US-run aid sites, with 41 deaths occurring while awaiting humanitarian aid.
