US obstruction of UN resolutions "makes it complicit" in Gaza crimes: Hamas

Hamas welcomed a statement from 14 of the 15 United Nations Security Council members calling on Israel to allow unfettered aid into Gaza and end its war on the enclave. The United States was the only member not to join the call. Hamas viewed the international position as a significant step in condemning what it calls a genocide and war of starvation against Palestinians. The group also stated that the continued obstruction of binding resolutions by the US makes it complicit in crimes against the Palestinian people and responsible for the famine in Gaza.
