US envoy blames UN, media and Hamas for Gaza chaos and failed truce

In July 2025, US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee accused the UN, The New York Times, and Hamas of spreading "lies and propaganda" to destabilize Gaza and undermine aid operations. These accusations came after footage emerged showing Palestinians climbing onto an aid truck. Huckabee claimed their actions destroyed a ceasefire deal and emboldened Hamas, prolonging grief for hostage families. International experts, however, attribute the chaos and hunger in Gaza to Israel's blockade of food and supplies.
