US announces Palestinian technocratic rule for Gaza under Trump's 'Board of Peace'

US President Donald Trump announced the formation of a "Board of Peace" to oversee a new technocratic Palestinian government in Gaza. This new body, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, is intended to govern the territory during a transitional phase. The plan also includes a comprehensive demilitarization agreement with Hamas, to be secured with support from Egypt, Turkey, and Qatar. This initiative is part of the second phase of a ceasefire plan designed to end the war in the besieged territory.
