US and UK 'immensely let down' families of detained Gaza flotilla activists

The families of British and American activists detained by Israel from the Global Sumud Flotilla have criticized their governments for a lack of support and representation. Activists, including a British RAF veteran and a Jewish-American organizer, were intercepted in international waters while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza and are now held in Ketziot prison. Relatives claim the US and UK governments have been passive and unresponsive, failing to publicly condemn the detentions or provide adequate consular assistance. While Israel has begun deporting some of the nearly 500 detained individuals, many British and American citizens remain in custody with limited contact from their consulates.
