This comment references the "Greater Israel" project, which would span five countries and the occupied Palestinian territories. When pressed by Carlson, Huckabee walked back the statement, calling it hyperbolic and clarifying that Israel is not currently trying to take over Jordan, Syria, or Iraq. He did add, however, that if Israel were attacked by these nations and won the resulting war, taking their land would be a different discussion.
