Unrwa: More than 50,000 children killed or injured in Gaza

The UN agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa) has warned that children in Gaza are starving to death and are at risk of dying without urgent treatment. Most children examined by Unrwa health teams are described as emaciated and weak. Citing data from Unicef, the agency reported that more than 50,000 children have been killed or injured in Gaza since October 2023. Unrwa has called for an end to what it terms the "war on children."
