Unrwa chief condemns Israeli ban on international media entering Gaza

Philippe Lazzarini, head of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa), has condemned Israel’s ban on international media entering Gaza. He described the ban as part of a "pattern to silence voices who speak out against atrocities." Lazzarini highlighted that more than 220 Palestinian journalists have been killed. He also noted that UN officials and humanitarian workers have been barred from going back to Gaza, stressing the duty to speak out against breaches of international humanitarian law.
