UN General Assembly 2025: On day three, Palestinian leader speaks with Gaza in spotlight

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas addressed the UN General Assembly via video call, describing the situation in the Gaza Strip as a war of genocide and a crime against humanity. He stated the Palestinian Authority (PA) is prepared to implement a Gaza plan and would work with international peacekeepers. Abbas also reiterated his demand for Hamas to submit to the authority of the PA. The address took place after the Trump administration banned him from entering the US.
