UK urged to move fast after PM signs off on receiving wounded Gaza children

Following Prime Minister's approval, Project Pure Hope (PPH) is urging the UK government to expedite the evacuation and medical treatment of 30 wounded children from Gaza. Keir Starmer announced that the UK is scaling up efforts to evacuate children from Gaza who need critical medical assistance, bringing them to the UK for specialist medical treatment. PPH, which previously brought two Palestinian children to the UK for treatment, has already coordinated with the WHO, Israeli, and Jordanian authorities to facilitate these evacuations. Nearly three dozen cross-party MPs are pressuring the government to assist with legal pathways and costs for bringing Palestinian children to the UK for medical care, as thousands require specialized care outside of Gaza.
