UK regulator issues warning to charity accused of fundraising for Israeli army

The UK's Charity Commission has issued an official warning to a British charity, Mizrachi UK, for allegedly fundraising for the Israeli army. A seven-month investigation found the charity promoted an appeal on its website and Facebook page to provide equipment for soldiers in a foreign military, which does not align with its charitable objectives. The complaint was initially filed by the International Centre of Justice of Palestinians (ICJP), which also accused the charity of hosting speakers who promote hate speech. The commission has ordered Mizrachi UK to implement corrective measures and will keep the case open until there is full compliance.
