UK Home Office graph reveals shocking scale of Palestine Action arrests

A UK Home Office graph reveals a dramatic spike in terrorism-related arrests following the government's proscription of the activist group Palestine Action. Over 1,800 people were arrested for terrorism-related activities in 2025, with more than 1,600 of those linked to the ban on the pro-Palestine group. More people have been charged with terrorism offenses in the months since the ban than during the entire 'war on terror' period since 2001. Despite a High Court ruling that the ban was discriminatory and unlawful, the government plans to appeal the decision.
