UK: Fifth Palestine Action prisoner joins rolling hunger strike over detention conditions

A fifth prisoner affiliated with the UK group Palestine Action has started a hunger strike over detention conditions and the government's ban on the organization. The prisoner, T Hoxha, is one of 24 activists arrested on terrorism charges after a direct action protest at the UK facility of Israeli arms company Elbit Systems. The rolling hunger strike, which involves four other prisoners, demands immediate bail, an end to prison interference with communications, and the de-proscription of Palestine Action. The prisoners allege worsening treatment and "systematic abuse" by prison authorities since the group was banned under terrorism legislation.
