UK attorney general rejects arrest warrant for visiting Israeli president

The UK's attorney general and director of public prosecutions have rejected an application for an arrest warrant for Israeli President Isaac Herzog. The pro-Palestine campaign group Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA) submitted the application on charges of aiding and abetting attacks on civilians. In response to the rejection, the FOA is now lodging a claim in the High Court for a judicial review to challenge the decision. The group argues that the Crown Prosecution Service's approach was incorrect for an urgent application and that insufficient inquiries were made.
