UAE lobbied pro-Israel groups to level antisemitism charges against Saudi Arabia

The United Arab Emirates has reportedly lobbied pro-Israel groups in the United States to level charges of antisemitism against Saudi Arabia. This effort is part of a broader regional rivalry, with the UAE utilizing its close ties established through the 2021 Abraham Accords. The American Jewish Committee (AJC), which has a satellite office in Abu Dhabi, was specifically pressured to condemn Riyadh for alleged antisemitism. While the AJC has not publicly commented, another UAE partner, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), has posted warnings about antisemitic rhetoric from prominent Saudi voices.
