UAE abruptly cuts aid to vital hospitals after withdrawing from Yemen

The United Arab Emirates abruptly cut humanitarian aid to vital hospitals in Yemen after withdrawing its military forces from the country. This move, which followed the defeat of its separatist allies, has left many Yemenis without access to free, specialized healthcare and complex surgeries. Patients now face long waits or prohibitively expensive private care as facilities like the 2nd of December Hospital in Mocha have lost their specialized medical teams. Although Saudi Arabia has pledged a $500m package to fill the gap, the transition has not yet occurred, leaving patients in a dangerous limbo.
