Two thirds of Canadians call humanitarian situation in Gaza ‘moral outrage’: Poll

A new poll indicates that two-thirds of Canadians consider the humanitarian situation in Gaza a "moral outrage." The data also shows that three-in-five support the recognition of a Palestinian state, though a similar number feel Hamas must be removed for that to be a realistic option. Sympathy for Palestinians has doubled since October 2023 to 37%, while support for Israel has fallen. Additionally, 61 percent of Canadians believe Israel is obstructing the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
