Turkey closes ports to Israeli ships, airspace to flights, says foreign minister

Turkey is closing its ports and airspace to Israeli ships and flights, according to Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The new policy prohibits Israeli ships from entering Turkish ports and Turkish ships from going to Israeli ports. Additionally, container ships carrying weapons and ammunition to Israel are not allowed to enter Turkish ports, and Israeli aircraft are banned from the country's airspace.
