Trump’s Week in Asia: Gifts, Deals, and Submarines

U.S. President Donald Trump undertook a major diplomatic trip to Asia, starting in Malaysia for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit. He then traveled to Japan to meet with the new prime minister before concluding his visit in South Korea for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
