Trump applies total immigration ban to 'Third World Countries'

US President Donald Trump has announced a permanent pause on migration to the US from all "Third World countries." The policy was announced following a shooting of two National Guard members by an Afghan national who had worked with the US government. The list of affected countries includes Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen, among others. Trump also stated he would remove anyone not deemed a "net asset" to the US and end federal benefits for noncitizens.
