'They will get me killed': Mothin Ali slams Starmer and Tory MP over smears in parliament

Green Party co-deputy leader Mothin Ali stated he fears for his life after receiving death threats following false claims made about him in the UK parliament. Conservative MP Alec Shelbrooke accused Ali of "protesting in support of the ayatollah," a claim Prime Minister Keir Starmer appeared to endorse. The demonstration Ali attended was actually an anti-war protest against US-Israeli strikes on Iran. Ali has challenged the MP to repeat the defamatory statement outside of parliament, where he is not protected by parliamentary privilege.
