'The Voice of Hind Rajab' wins second prize at Venice Film Festival

A film titled "The Voice of Hind Rajab," which depicts the killing of a five-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza, won the Silver Lion grand jury prize at the Venice Film Festival. The movie is based on the real-life death of Hind Rajab, who was killed by Israeli forces as her family tried to flee. She was found dead on February 10, 2024, after being trapped in a car under Israeli fire for nearly two weeks. An investigation determined that the car she was in had been hit with 335 bullets.
