Technocratic committee overseeing Gaza transition revealed

A new 15-member technocratic committee has been revealed to oversee a transition of power in Gaza as part of a ceasefire agreement. The committee will be led by former Palestinian deputy minister Ali Shaath and overseen by Bulgarian diplomat Nickolay Mladenov, who will represent a Donald Trump-led "Board of Peace". Key appointments include Sami Nasman, a critic of Hamas, as minister of security, and other individuals to manage sectors like finance, health, and education. Both Hamas and Islamic Jihad have reportedly agreed to support the committee's formation, which was mediated by Egypt and is part of the second phase of a US-led ceasefire plan.
