Sudan's Hemedti closely linked to Dubai property portfolio

Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the leader of Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) also known as Hemedti, is closely linked to a $1.7 million property portfolio in Dubai. A report from The Sentry, based on leaked property records, reveals that Hemedti purchased three apartments in 2020 near a UAE military air base. These properties were later transferred to a company owned by an individual who was sanctioned by the US for providing financial and military support to the RSF. The findings detail the financial network supporting the paramilitary group and raise questions about the UAE's role in the Sudanese conflict, despite its denials of supporting the RSF.
