Sudan: Brother of RSF commander Hemedti now using Kenyan passport and Emirati ID

Algoney Hamdan Dagalo Musa, the brother of Sudanese RSF commander Hemedti, is now using a Kenyan passport and an Emirati ID, according to an updated US sanctions memo. The Dubai-based businessman was sanctioned by the US for leading the procurement of weapons for the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). This development highlights the alleged ties between the RSF and both the United Arab Emirates, its main sponsor, and Kenya, whose president has hosted RSF leadership. US senators have also called for an investigation into a visit Algoney Dagalo made to Washington despite the sanctions against him.
