Shock and defiance in Sanaa after Israeli assassination of Houthi officials

Thousands gathered in Sanaa, Yemen, for the mass funeral of 12 senior Houthi officials, including Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi, who were killed in an Israeli airstrike. The strike, which killed more than half of the cabinet members in the Sanaa government, has been met with shock, anger, and defiance in Houthi-controlled areas. While Israel has targeted Houthi areas for over a year, this attack was described as particularly devastating. The Israeli Defence Minister called the strike a "crushing blow" against the Houthi movement and warned that it was "only the beginning."
