Qatar, US and Israel hold meeting in New York: Report

Officials from Qatar, the US, and Israel held a meeting in New York to rebuild relations after Israel conducted air strikes in Doha. The meeting, hosted by US envoy Steve Witkoff and attended by Mossad chief David Barnea, is reportedly the highest-level discussion between the nations since the September strikes. This diplomatic effort is taking place as preparations for a second phase of the Gaza peace process are said to be underway. Qatar, a key mediator in the Gaza war, had previously scaled back its role after the strikes killed six people, but has since resumed mediation despite strained relations with Israel.
