Punish Russia for Helping Iran Target the U.S. Military

Russia is reportedly providing real-time targeting data and drones to help Iran strike American and Israeli assets, directly linking the war in Ukraine with conflict in the Middle East. To counter this, the United States should punish Russia by increasing support for Ukraine. This includes removing all restrictions on Ukraine's use of American-supplied weapons for strikes inside Russian territory and easing technology transfer barriers for precision strike weapons. By enabling Ukraine to punish Russia more effectively, Washington can raise the costs for Moscow's actions, deter its support for Iran, and compel it toward a sincere settlement in Ukraine.
