Pro-Palestine rallies sweep Syria amid Gaza genocide and Israeli occupation

Widespread pro-Palestine protests have taken place across Syria, with thousands demonstrating in cities like Damascus, Aleppo, and Idlib. The rallies condemn a new Israeli law permitting the execution of Palestinian prisoners and also protest the continued Israeli occupation of Syrian territory, including the Golan Heights. These demonstrations occurred as Israeli forces conducted a deadly strike on a vehicle in the Quneitra countryside in southern Syria. Syria's foreign ministry denounced the attack as a violation of international law and called for international action.
