Palestinian coalition rejects US colonial plan for Gaza

The National Commission for Palestinian Popular Action has rejected a US proposal to place Gaza under an externally imposed transitional administration, calling the move a form of "new colonialism." The commission stated that any governing body installed without the consent of the Palestinian people violates their right to self-determination. This rejection comes as a US draft resolution is set to go to the UN Security Council, proposing a civilian administration and an international stabilization force for Gaza. While acknowledging a limited international presence could monitor a ceasefire, the coalition insists it must not have any political role and called on all Palestinian groups to oppose the plan.
