Over one million Palestinians reject forced displacement from Gaza, says government media office

Over one million Palestinians are remaining in Gaza City and the north, rejecting forced displacement to the south. The Gaza Government Media Office stated that Israel is attempting to push over 1.7 million people into designated shelter zones that comprise less than twelve percent of the strip's area. This so-called humanitarian zone has reportedly been bombed over 100 times, killing more than 2,000 people. Residents in these areas are left without essential resources like hospitals, water, food, or electricity.
