Opinion: Why recognising 'Palestine' rewards Israel's PA collaborators

Several European countries, including Britain, have recognized a "State of Palestine" to be governed by the unelected Palestinian Authority (PA). This recognition is argued to be a reward for a collaborationist regime, not the Palestinian people. The practice is compared to historical British colonial strategy in Palestine, which began after 1917. Britain consistently blocked Palestinian bids for independence while installing collaborators willing to accept the Zionist project, a pattern seen as repeating today.
