One child killed every hour in Gaza war: Save the Children

Save the Children reports that on average, at least one Palestinian child has been killed every hour in Gaza during the ongoing war. Figures from Gaza authorities indicate that over 20,000 children, representing about two percent of the territory's child population, have been killed since October 2023. Among the deceased are at least 1,009 babies under the age of one. A regional director for the organization described the statistic as a "horrific new low" and criticized the world for its inaction in stopping systematic attacks on civilian areas.
