Number of UK Jews moving to Israel rising significantly, says minister

Israel’s aliyah and integration minister has stated that the number of British Jews migrating to Israel has risen significantly. According to ministry data, 840 Jews moved from the UK to Israel last year, a 19 percent increase from the prior year and a substantial jump from 391 in 2023. Israeli officials attribute this trend, which includes a 45 percent rise from France, to growing antisemitism in Western countries, especially since October 2023. While Russia still provides the most migrants, the increases from the UK, France, and the US indicate a growing trend of choosing Israel.
