French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the Nobel Peace Prize sought by Donald Trump is only possible if he stops the war in Gaza. Speaking from New York, Macron referenced Trump's desire for the prize and his stated goal of achieving peace. The French president also noted that while France has officially recognized the state of Palestine, it would only truly be created the day Israel also recognizes it.
