Netanyahu orders start of immediate negotiations to release 'all' captives in Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the immediate start of negotiations for the release of all remaining captives in Gaza. The prime minister stated the negotiations should also aim to end the war under conditions acceptable to Israel. This announcement was made as Netanyahu also approved the military's plan to take over Gaza City. The move comes after Hamas accepted a ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar, to which Israel did not respond.
