Most Israelis not bothered by reports of suffering and famine in Gaza, new poll shows

A new poll from the Israel Democracy Institute shows that the vast majority of Israelis are not troubled by reports of famine and suffering in Gaza. The survey indicates that 79 percent of Jewish Israelis were not troubled, whereas 86 percent of Palestinian citizens of Israel were somewhat or very troubled by the reports. The results also show a significant divide along political lines, with 70 percent of left-leaning respondents showing concern compared to only 32 percent in the center and six percent on the right.
