More than 50 NGOs warn Israeli bans will gravely impede aid access in Gaza

More than 50 international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have warned that new registration measures imposed by Israel will gravely impede their ability to deliver humanitarian aid in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs is requiring these groups to submit lists of their Palestinian employees for security screening, a demand the NGOs state violates humanitarian principles and data protection. The organizations, which operate a majority of Gaza's field hospitals and food assistance programs, argue that allowing their registrations to lapse will obstruct aid at scale.
