More than 18,000 children killed by Israel in Gaza

More than 62,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza by Israeli attacks since October 2023, according to the Gaza Government Media Office. Among the dead are at least 18,885 children, a number that continues to climb amid escalating violence. These escalating attacks have targeted UN schools being used as shelters, prompting the UN to declare that Israel has turned these once-safe havens into "a place of death."
