London’s Metropolitan Police is accused of reversing its policy on Palestine Action protests to justify recent arrests. Following a High Court ruling that deemed the government's ban on the direct action group unlawful, police had stated they would not arrest supporters under terrorism laws. Despite this, two protesters were arrested for holding signs supporting the group, including one at the Al-Quds Day rally. Campaigners claim the police have now changed their policy to retrospectively fit these arrests, calling it a chaotic response and a weaponization of terrorism legislation.
