Lebanon: Israeli strike kills at least 10, including Hezbollah leader

Israeli strikes in eastern Lebanon killed at least 10 people and wounded 24 others in what is described as a violation of a ceasefire. A Hezbollah military leader, Muhammad Hassan Yaghi, was among those killed in the attack on the Bekaa Valley. In response to the wave of assaults, the Lebanese president warned that the continued violations undermine diplomatic stability efforts. Hamas also condemned a separate targeting of the Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp, calling it a dangerous escalation and a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty.
