Large-scale fighting between Hamas and Israeli soldiers in Khan Younis

Large-scale fighting has been reported between Hamas's al-Qassam Brigades and Israeli soldiers in Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. An Israeli army camp came under a heavy attack from what the Israeli military said was at least 18 Hamas fighters. Three Israeli soldiers were wounded in the attack, with one reported to be in serious condition.
