Jordanian king rejects any Israeli move to annex West Bank

King Abdullah II of Jordan reaffirmed his absolute refusal of any Israeli measures to annex the occupied West Bank. During a visit to the UAE, he and Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan jointly expressed opposition to Israeli settlement expansion and plans to displace Palestinians from Gaza. Their statement also rejected any separation of the Palestinian territories or perpetuation of the occupation of Gaza.
