Italian navy eyes Turkish Bayraktar TB3 drone for aircraft carrier Cavour

An Italian admiral stated in a parliamentary hearing that the navy was paying close attention to the drone system, which could be acquired through a cooperation agreement between Turkish and Italian defense companies. Italy's interest was reportedly sparked by the TB3's impressive performance during a recent NATO military exercise in the Baltic Sea. During the drill, the drone successfully took off from and landed on a Turkish carrier in subzero temperatures, demonstrating a capability that some European navies currently lack.
