Israel's second-largest airline moves its operations to Jordan and Egypt

Israel's second-largest airline, Arkia, is moving its operations to Jordan and Egypt due to restrictions at Ben Gurion Airport. This move comes four weeks into a reported US-Israeli war on Iran, which has led to a 50-passenger limit on carriers. The airline's CEO stated this policy effectively closes Israel's skies, making regular aviation activity unsustainable. Arkia's flights will now depart from smaller airports in Aqaba, Jordan, and Taba, Egypt, while only minimal humanitarian flights will continue from Israel.
